Akrobatik’s Record Release Party in Boston

Los Wunder Twins Del Rap opened up the show with a banging (anthem like) song and crazy high energy. They were totally on fire. It’s a shame the crowd wasn’t returning the energy. The super producer / emcee D-Tension and his partner in rhyme, Effect, went on to rock joints such as Get Numb as well as fan favorite 10 Minutes and Myspace Bitches. The crowd started to get live towards the end of the set, but Los Wunder Twin should have gotten way more love for the dope show they put on.

Termanology rocked with his crew, ST the Squad. Very live and animated set. They kicked it off with a rousing chorus of “Make Money Money, Take Money Money”. The crowd came alive for Termanology and ST the Squad. I figured out who the people taking naps had come to see. I have heard a lot of Term’s music, but have yet to see him live. He has a flow reminiscent of Big Pun and has a lot of beats produced by big name producers. Term and his crew have a look and vibe that could get commercial success while still maintaining respect from the underground. If that is possible. Akro came out and rocked a joint with Termanolgy about the good old days, then vanished backstage to get prepared for his own set. Term ended his set with his big hit “Watch How It Go Down” produced by DJ Premier.
