This event happened on 02/24/08 in Cambridge Massachusetts. I am writing the review a week late, so I will keep it short and sweet.

The drive to Boston was much easier than the ride to New York, yet it would lead to one major draw back which I will address at the end of this write up. When we (wifey and I) arrived in Cambridge it took a minute to find parking. It was absolutely freezing out so the walk was torture. At the door we did not receive the love we got from the venue in NYC. No All Access Passes. They almost fronted on me, but dude finally found my name (+1).

The vibe inside the club was totally different than in New York as well. The Boston crowd was on some weird shit. They acted a lot more “Thugged Out” than the New York crowd. They stood around with their arms crossed and all ice grilled out. I also saw people who just sat on a bench and slept waiting for one certain group to perform instead of enjoying the whole show. My wife complained to me that while taking pictures, people would not adjust themselves so she could get the best photo possible. They would just block her and give her the gas face. No Love. Very different from New York. Everyone in NYC was there to party and have a great time. I had so many positive interactions with random people in New York, it was so fresh. But I digress …

DJ Evil D was spinning when I got inside. He was doing his thing and had the 5 Footer, from Black Moon, with him as his hype man. I got my first New Castle brown ale and tried to find the best place to video tape the show from. The good thing about this venue compared to the venue in New York was the price of the drinks. Each round was like half the cost. We could either save a bunch of money or get twice as drunk. Nice.
